Hoover Dam

On way to Flagstaff

We left Vegas Tuesday morning and en route to Flagstaff (Grand Canyon area) we stopped at the Hoover Dam - good history, geography lesson for the girls!! Amazing how they built this and they have made it really good for visitors to come and take a look and to read all about it.
We walked across the huge bridge to take a look , very windy day but pleased we took the stop.
We remembered watching Stephen Fry's America programme earlier this year and how he was told about certain things so we were pleased we could do a school lesson for the girls!!!
Onto the Canyon.........
